What is Community Acupuncture? Community acupuncture involves treating multiple people at once in a large group setting. This allows patients to receive more frequent treatments at a lower fee, and thus more desirable results. The community setting is a common form of practice in Asia, and is now becoming more popular in the US. The group healing setting not only allows for more affordable treatments, but also increases overall healing energies in one room. As human beings and mammals, we are naturally drawn to community. We seek comfort, support, and strength from those around us. During community acupuncture you receive the support from the energy of those around you, while also finding relaxation during your own individual treatment.
Pay What You Can Services are offered in a group setting on a sliding scale from $40 - $55 for regular/returning patients, and $45 - $60 for New Patients. You decide what you can pay, no questions asked. Because treatment prices are offered on a sliding scale, we do not accept insurance. We accept cash, check, credit/debit, Venmo, Paypal, or Flex Spending Account (FSA)/Health Savings (HSA) cards as well. SICK POLICY: Please call to cancel your appointment if you are experiencing ANY symptoms (even if you test NEGATIVE for COVID). You will NOT be charged a cancellation fee if you need to cancel for sickness. Please do not schedule an appointment if you or a family member are currently sick.
** All other cancellations: Please give 12 hrs notice to cancel your appointment or you will be charged a missed appointment fee ($40 for returning patient, $45 for new patients). Cancellations can be done through Schedulicity if done so before the 12 hour window. Otherwise, you must call/text to cancel.
